// 2025-10-21

“Film directing - how it’s made?” is a series of classes led by Jarek Kupść - director, screenwriter, cinematographer, and editor, as well as lecturer at the Warsaw Film School. Kupść is the author of the film “Slumberland” (2006), which received the Special Jury Prize in the Independent Cinema Competition at the Gdynia Polish Film Festival.

During the lectures, participants will explore the creative process behind a selected film. The lecturer analyzes the film’s visual language, narrative, and directorial decisions, showing how artistic choices influence the audience’s perception.

This session will focus on the analysis of “Medium Cool”, a 1969 American political drama directed by Haskell Wexler.
